If a convicted criminal is first punished by the law and later by God what ever happened to double jeopardy?

God's justice isn't as fair as humans justice. Humans came up with the concept of double jeopardy - god didn't. Humans also thought that slavery and killing infants should be illegal. Those were also fine by god.
