Who is more honorable? Spartan, or Samurai?

My particular feeling is that the Spartans would be more honorable. They were simply citizens of Sparta, who would take arms to defend Sparta, or sometimes Greece as a whole. Spartans fought wars, against other soldiers. Samurai were in the private force of warlords had no part of society other than conflict with other warlords, and despite the legendary code of behavior would kill women and children without hesitation if so ordered.
